It's my first time shopping at Top Dance Shoes Company, how do I know my correct shoe size?
• You can use our sizing chart to help you decide which size will suit you. Our dance shoes are "American Street Size". PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU USE OUR SIZING CHART before deciding. As for the width, this will depend on your preferences. Most dancers prefer tightly fitted shoes and so they go for the "medium," width. Unless you consider yourself as someone with wide feet, then go for the "wide," width.

Which heel height should I choose?
• This will depend on what type of dancing you do, hence it is best asking your dance instructor for their recommendation.
• If the first option is not available, a general rule you can keep in mind is the lower the heel height, the more control you will have over your dancing as keeping your balance is much easier.

How do I measure the heel height?
It is measured from the side of the shoe and from the bottom of the heel tip to the top at the middle of the heel.(ie. Where you would put the centre of your weight on the heel).

What makes dance shoes different from street shoes?
All dance shoes, both ladies and men have suede soles which are non-slip soles and metal shanks in the arch for support and they make the shoes very light weighted and flexible.

Can the shoes be worn outdoors?
It is not wise to do this as this will increase the chances of ruining the soles of your dance shoes. The special dance soles are meant to be worn indoors and vice versa on how you would not be able to dance properly with your normal street wear shoes.

I like the shoes you sell and would like to wear them socially on normal surfaces. Do you make them with normal street wear soles?
No, we specialise only in dance shoes but if you want to buy and wear them as street wear, you can do so by checking with your local cobbler whether they can glue street wear soles onto the dance shoes and convert them into street wear. I have spoken to some cobblers who thinks they are capable of doing this but you will need to check this yourself and we do not hold any responsibility if it does not work.

Do you have a shop that I can visit to try on or pick up the shoes?
No, unfortunately we are a strictly online store and this is to eliminate any associated overhead costs involved in running a physical store.

The prices of the dance shoes are very low compared to other dance shoes I have come across. Is the quality of the shoes just as good?
Yes, the quality of our shoes are just as good. The shoes are in accordance to the industry standard. Many of our customers have tried and love our shoes as they are light and very comfortable. Our factory makes thousands of shoes each day and with this mass production levels, we are able to keep the costs of our shoes low.

Is my payment secure?
Yes, we use a 128-bit encryption secure server certificate.

How many brands do you carry?
We currently carry the shoe brand by " Very Fine Dance Shoes," which are hand-made shoes, designed by the famous designers in the USA, France and made by our experienced manufacturer in China. Shoes are "made to order," to reduce production and inventory costs in order to keep costs low.

Do you ship using COD?
No, we don't.

What are the shipping rates?

How long will it take to receive my order?
Please allow 3-5 weeks for your shoes to be made and delivered to your door.

What if the shoes don't fit properly or I don't like them?

• You can return to us for a refund or exchange provided they have not been worn for any sort of dancing and are still brand new.

• You must email us within 7 days of receipt telling us in an email you want a refund/exchange and we will advise you on what to do next.

• Shoes must reach our warehouse as new (unworn) within 21 days of receipt and please place a note inside the box with specific instructions.

• Returns will be subject to a 20% handling fee per pair.

How do I return the shoes?
After we have received your email which would have been within 7 days of receipt, we will advise you what to do in an email.

What type of approval is involved in the refund/exchange process?
We will approve refund/exchange your purchase once we have received your shoes and can see that it has been unworn and still brand new.

What is the address to send the unwanted shoes back to?
The address will be given to you via email together with a special refund/exchange code when you email us to request for a refund or exchange.

What is the return policy?
If you are not satisfied with our product(s), you can return for Exchange or Refund simply by sending back what you purchased from us with the original documents (invoice). We shall proceed the replacement or refund upon having received your returned good(s) subject to the following conditions:

1. An email from you to us explaining that you want a refund/exchange within 5 days of receipt of your goods.

2. No sign that the shoes have been worn.

3. No damage or scratch on the surface or bottom of the shoes.

4. Customers shall be responsible for ALL shipping charges for returning and reshipping the goods to us.

5. 15% charge for restocking based on your purchased price.

6. We will deduct the restocking costs from the total amount of the refunded amount we send to you.

7. It takes about 5~10 days for us to proceed the new replacement or refund upon having received customer's returned merchandise(s).

8. We shall not be held liable for any damage or lost caused during your returning transit. You are recommended to use REGISTERED OR EXPRESS MAIL to avoid theft or loss in the process.

9. We shall keep our right to choose directly credit back to our customer or to send a check for customer's refund.

10. We shall keep our rights to alter our price and terms any time at our sole discretion without serving you a prior notice.
